Truth be told, we still do not know what a brand is. We have compiled a list of over 200 definitions outlining what it should be and, as things stand, the question remains.
The question over the fact that, when you need 200 versions to define something, it means that something is far from easy to define.
What we do know is that a brand does not belong to those who manage it, but to those who consume it.
Which is why we are an advertising agency that believes that a response goes beyond communication and that no two projects are alike.
Thus, since we started out in 2007, we have been defined by various collaborators and clients as, ‘The “why not?” agency’, ‘The “how?” company’, ‘The ones there to provoke us’ and ‘Those capable of creating order as well as walking on the wild side’.

- 2007 Marc Ros and Risto Mejide launch AFTERSHARE.TV in a basement flat in Vallcarca (Barcelona), purchasing IKEA furniture and taking on their first member of staff.
- 2009 Our Madrid office opens with a central address in Calle del Pez.
- 2011 Creators and organisers of the first Branded Content forum in Spain (Branducers).
- 2012 Marc Ros forms part of the first ever Branded Content jury at the Cannes Festival.
- 2012 Risto Mejide is recognised as one of the Best Creatives in Spain.
- 2012 – 2013 AFTERSHARE.TV is recognised as the No.1 Branded Content agency by Spanish advertisers (ContentScope by Grupo Consultores).
- 2014 Our Valencia office opens in Avenida del Puerto.
- 2015 Founders and Marc Ros form the first presidency of the Branded Content Marketing Association (BCMA).
- 2014 – 2015 AFTERSHARE.TV is recognised as the No.1 Branded Content agency by Spanish advertisers for the second year running (ContentScope by Grupo Consultores).
- 2016 We attend the El Sol festival to collect a prize for our MarcaBuzz content with EA Sports and the Sitges Next festival for an action in conjunction with Kelme.
- 2017 Celebrating our 10th Anniversary. We’re still not sure how.
